The most delicious Chicken “Noodle” Soup. You need to try this immediately if not sooner.
I am a little late in getting my Whole30 update out this week. Better late than never, I always say! I am excited to say this is the final countdown! We have six days to go and let me tell you, I have never been so tempted to cheat. We had to talk ourselves out of it a couple times this week, as we tried to say we did the “Whole22,” and just call it! Well, we stayed strong and we’re right on track to have our final day next Tuesday.
With only six days and counting, my thoughts are as follows: deprivation is not for me; however, this was the perfect way to restart our healthy eating habits. While, we will live and did survive the 30 days, there are just certain things that I need to allow myself to indulge in every once in blue moon. Especially when aunt flow is in town. I know all my sisters out there are nodding in agreement. That being said, next Wednesday is going to be an indulgence day. Follow along on Snapchat (hanehill) and Instagram… I’m sure I’ll share some of our food adventures there. On a positive note, big changes have been made in our bodies! I can see it all over, not to mention, a lot of my clothes are fitting too large. That’s always a good and frustrating feeling because then what do you wear?! Good though, because it gives a girl an excuse to shop. All in all, this Whole30 journey has definitely inspired me to be aware of what I’m putting in my body and so much more.
A lot of the food we ate last week was simple and just not blog worthy. So, instead here is our final food plan to wrap up this Whole30 shabang. Some of the recipes are stuff we came up with on our own, most can be found here, and the rest on Pinterest. If you want an actual meal post, ask and you shall receive!
Once we get through the final day, I’ll share a round up of all our thoughts on the Whole30 and why you should try it! If you want to take a glance at our journey from the beginning, look here, here, & here.
