Hi folks! I hope you all had a great week and an even better weekend! As for me, my weekend was spent with family remembering my Grandpa. I also talked about him here. Anyways, we made the best of an unfortunate situation and spent quality time with my AHHMAZING family. Really though, my family is the best! I got to hear tons of stories about my Grandpa, look at funny old pictures, and we even went up to an apple orchard. ps. we also went to breakfast at Carolyn’s Cafe in Redlands and enjoyed a piece of the BEST coffee cake. EVER. If you’re ever in the Redlands area, I would highly recommend stopping by that sweet little cafe! Anyways, those are the highlights of my weekend and here are a few pictures to go along with it. How was yours?!
There is NOTHING better than a vintage leather jacket, family time, apple orchards, and velcro sneakers… Am I right, or am i right?!
ps. Remember a couple weeks ago I mentioned a scripture in Romans and that there were two verses I wanted to share, see here. Well here is the second one…
This one really speaks a lot to me during this season in my life and I think it is pretty simple. It doesn’t require much of an explanation either. What I truly get from this scripture is two fold… For one, God’s promise is that he will always provide to us regardless of any circumstance, good or bad. And two, even through times of suffering – which happen often in this dark world – God is guiding us to something greater and or teaching us something we desperately need to learn as beings created in His image. If we would always trust, leaving our hope and faith in Him, we will never, ever be decieved or suffer from that which is of this world.
