I couldn’t help but post this picture, notice Boots’ head fully dunked in the water. He cracks me up!
I hope everyone has enjoyed another beautiful weekend. I especially did because my work schedule allows me to have every other Friday off and this week happened to be one of those incredible three day weekends. As for me, the weekend was packed with both enjoyable and productive aspects of life. Now that I am trying to reflect on the weekend Friday seems so far away, I can’t even remember what was going on! Goodness, pre-senior moment right there. That’s a little scary if you ask me. Saturday, however, was a really fun day for the dogs. Remember I mentioned here that Clifford was prescribed a doggy diet… well this weekend, in an attempt to help him shed the unwanted pounds, a trip to pick up the boat turned into a lake day for the dogs. Boots and Cliffy absolutely love the water and running free. As if you can’t tell that from the images above and below.
^^he looks a little trimmer if you ask me, but I’m his mama.. what do you think??
Aside from our little trip on Saturday, the rest of the weekend consisted of boring normalcy. Even these long weekends seem to pass too fast. When you’re young, adults always make mention of how fast time flies as you get older. I can fully attest to that. I mean, is September seriously half way over??! I can’t believe it! Enough of my weekend rambling, enjoy the last bit of your Sunday before we all have to get back to it tomorrow!
ps. Here’s a little bit of whats inspiring me… Having faith, hope, and trust in this life can sometimes pose as a big feat. Often times in our life, we look to only what our own minds can comprehend. This has the ability to make things much more complicated then they’re supposed to be. Proverbs 3:5-6 says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. – If we give our hearts fully to God and trust in Him, no matter what is asked of us, we can live a tremendous life filled with abundant amounts of peace and joy. Trusting in this way is something that can come as a huge challenge to us as humans. I don’t know about you, but, even though it is challenging it is absolutely worth while!
