Hello lovies! Man, we’re only two days in and this week already feels long! Yesterday, it finally felt like October. It was freezing and I love it! …could have done without the 35 mph though. Anyways, I won’t get myself going on that… This truly is my favorite time of year! Is it just me or does fall have a romantic feel to it? There is nothing better than cuddling & watching movies on cold, blustery days. Am I right, or am i right?! I know I’m not the only person that feels a little romantic this time of year because one of my very best friends just got engaged! That’s about as romantic as you can get people! I am so excited for her and as soon as I heard I knew I wanted to do a little something special for her, as she begins the wedding planning process.
I thought back to my wedding and the first thing I did was make a planner, so I would be totally organized throughout the entire process. Anyone out there whos ever planned their wedding, on their own, knows that this is a must! I thought that would be a perfect little gift to get her started!
I ran out to the store and picked up: a binder (pink of course), calendar, dividers, sub-divider sticky tabs, page protectors, business card holders, lined paper, bridal mags, and cute
pink pens of course!
I really just put everything in the binder in no particular order, so she could arrange it in a way that would be most useful to her. As for my wedding book, under each divider I put lined paper, a page protector or two, left the calendar in the front, labeled every tab according to what I thought I would need to keep organized, slapped a little inspiration & a picture of me and hub on the front, then finished it all off with a big white bow!
Here’s the finish product!
ps. – over the weekend she asked her best girls to be a part of the bridal party! This will be the first wedding I’ve ever been in and I couldn’t be more excited about it. So happy for you lady love, can’t wait to begin this amazing wedding adventure with you and all these fun girls! Here’s how she did it… doesn’t get much cuter than that!
