It just dawned on me that there are a few different ways families celebrate Thanksgiving. While some may prefer to be comfortable and relaxed, others prefer to be slightly dressed up or even somewhere in between. So, here are three different outfit ideas that should be reasonably easy to re-create. I tried to include basics for all three so, you may have some variation of each item. Since it is still fall, I stayed within a neutral + warm toned palette for each look; however, this is just what I’d prefer for myself. If you want to break the “rules,” I say do it!
Comfortable + Casual | For the girl who thinks fastened jeans on a guilt-free eating day is optional, paired with dainty accessories to keep things interesting.
Somewhere In Between | Who doesn’t love the ease of jeans & a t-shirt? Keep that same vibe by tossing on your stretchiest or most relaxed pair of jeans, add a blouse and ditch the t-shirt.
Slightly Dressed Up | Wearing a dress makes everything girlier and just a bit fancier, plus it is less constraining on your expanding waistline. Tights optional, depending on your style and weather situation.
What version are you planning on wearing this Thanksgiving? As always, thanks for reading and I hope you have a happy, happy Thanksgiving! Eat all the food and enjoy all the family time.
