Going to the eye doctor and buying glasses can be a somewhat daunting task. First of all, going to the eye doctor-really not fun. Second, standing around feeling pressured and trying to pick out glasses on the spot. Well, that’s even less fun. Are you with me? Ok, good. It was about that time for me to have an eye appointment. Just as I suspected, my prescription changed slightly and I was ready for some new frames. My go to is Warby Parker. They allow you to do an at home try on where you can borrow 5 frames, pick your favorite, send them back, and repeat or order a pair if you found the winner. I also really love how you can write down your thoughts while you’re evaluating the frames. It helps you keep track of what you did and didn’t like as you check out each pair. And that’s exactly how I picked my newest pair!
…and the winner is the Duval. I picked square specs this time around, whereas my old pair, the Percey, has a round shape. Which ones do you like?! The process really is so fun and I would recommend checking out Warby Parker if you’re in the market for some new glasses. Another company I’ve been hearing a lot about is David Kind, same idea there with home try on. Next time around, I think I’ll check them out and see how I like it.
