I’ve been seeing mason jars pop up everywhere lately, whether that be in the form of plastic tumblers at the store or even interesting light fixtures. One thing in particular I’ve seen all over pinterest and etsy are mason jars made into on the go cups. My favorite part of this project is that you can buy a single mason jar like this for upwards of $20 and it cost me less than $5 to make.
What you’ll need is a hot glue gun, mason jar, straws, finishing washer #14, and a drill.
Here are the steps I took:
Start by drilling a hole in the center of the lid. Once I drilled the hole, I made sure a straw would fit. Now that the hole is there you’re ready to glue the washer around the hole.
Now that you’ve added the washer to the lid you’re done! Just add a straw and fill it with your favorite beverage of love. Enjoy!
