HI, hi, hi!
Out here in California it is finally starting to feel like fall. The air is cool and crisp and I’m basically in heaven. It only took the entire month of October for the season to fall in line BUT, we are finally here and I ain’t mad. Now that I can finally pull out my sweaters, boots, scarves, hats, etc. and wear them for their actual purpose; as opposed to wearing them, pretending it is cool outside while I’m actually trying to hide the fact that I’m sweating because it’s 90 degrees out. First world problems… Anyways, the temps have finally come down and I’m all about transiting my wardrobe from summer to fall to winter as smoothly as possible. While sunglasses are an absolute necessity in the summer months, I’ve teamed up with Salt City Optics to show you that they can be easily styled for the cooler months too. Plus, I am definitely an all-year-round sunglass wearer so there’s that.
As I said, fall means oversized sweaters, jewel + neutral tones, and cute booties; however, that alone would be SO boring. I like to keep it interesting by layering pieces and adding accessories. Enter, the perfect blanket scarf, beanie or felt hat, and cat eye sunglasses. That has been my favorite shape for sunglasses lately and I think it looks super fun when paired with a hat too. Most importantly, to all my once a week hair washers out there, hats are cute but they also cover a bad hair day OR hair we all know isn’t going to get a good wash for a few more days. Enough said, I think we can all get on board with this hat thing. Am.I.Right?
Salt City Optics is also offering my readers an exclusive discount code! Just use FALLFASHION25 at checkout to enjoy 25% off your next purchase.
As always, thanks for reading and I hope to see all of you adorning your fall & winter outfits with sunglasses + a hat too!
