As I sit here and type this, a sweet little boy is snoozing just a room away. In lite of this holiday it seems impossible not to think of and acknowledge how truly lucky I am to live the life I do. With a beautiful family and many more blessings, even during a silly holiday like today, I am reminded just how good I have it. Ok, ok, sappy-mom gush over… for now. I just couldn’t resist. Although, I know all the lucky-crazy-blessed-mamas out there are with me on this one!
Anyways, as you probably know, we are not strangers to crafts over in this house and these types of holidays give us the excuse to break out the paint and get to it! We did a couple of projects today, but this one was my favorite so I wanted to share.
What you’ll need: Rainbow Colored Paint, Glue and Craft Paper. Really, that’s it!
Paint those sweet toots all the colors of the rainbow and stamp his or her feets in the shape of a rainbow, imagine that!
Next, while letting hims cute little feet prints dry, I cut out a pot and gold circles. I found some awesome circle punches and glittery gold craft paper. You can always do it the old fashioned way and cut your circles with scissors or use actual glitter and glue.
Glue the pot at the end of the rainbow and little gold circles overflowing your pot. Yep, you guessed it, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
Voila. There’s a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow and this masterpiece proves it.
I hope you all had the happiest of St. Pattie’s Days!
