This upcoming weekend my fam and I are heading on a little road trip. I, for one, love weekend getaways and experiencing new things with our party of three. However, now that we’re packing for ourselves + our sweet boy, I am always paranoid that I will forget something important. The good news is, I have always been a list maker to the core. It genuinely is the only way I am able to make sure everything gets done and I don’t forget important things. I hate more than anything when I think of something important I need to do, or in this case pack, and then completely forget. That.Is.The.Worst. Once we added another little person to the mix, it became even easier to forget the most important little things. And on top of all that, being out of town and trying to find the store to get what you need in a place your not familiar with (ok, it’s not that hard with technology nowadays) can be a little bit chaotic. It’s happened before and I’m sure it’ll happen again but, I try to avoid it as much as possible by making lists and checking things off.
Because we’re heading out of town for the weekend, I thought it would fun to share a printable family packing list! I had my hubby give me a list of his essentials and then I formatted it all into a simple list of whats in our bag(s). Over-packer alert. Although, making lists does help in the over-packing category!
On a side note, isn’t there something to be said for checking things off of a list? It gives me such a sense of accomplishment! Am I just weird? Anyways, I hope this list helps you as much as it does me.
If you’re not a big list maker, how do you ensure nothing gets left behind?
