Feliz Cinco De Mayo, amigos! In honor of today I thought I would share our dinner plans, as well as, some Cinco De Mayo inspired links I love and you might too. As for us, it has been declared taco night. It is simple, quick, and easy. That’s my kind of meal… I’m sorry to admit that I can’t make many Mexican dishes. I have, however, mastered the quesadilla, homemade chips & salsa, and homemade taco shells. Which isn’t very impressive, if we’re being honest. I will hopefully continue to get better as I get older, but for now, here are a few Cinco De Mayo links I love.
Homemade Tortilla Chips – because you can do no better than guac & salsa with chips on Cinco De Mayo.
Chalkboard Canning Jar DIY – If you’re going to a dinner party, make some dip and toss it into a canning jar, tie a little twine, and use the chalkboard on the lid to label the contents.
A Wide Brim Hat – to resemble a sombrero.
