Hiiiii lovies! I hope your week is going good so far. I am now back at work after my wonderful anni getaway with the hub, and needed a little something sweet as I head back to reality! I don’t know about you, but every Halloween I cave and eat a few candy corn…. even though, every single year, I come to the same conclusion that I really don’t care for them too much. I was inspired by the fall colors incorporated in candy corns and a little chocolate, well because, I am a girl and what girl doesn’t like chocolate. Who’s with me??!
Here’s what I used:
Halloween Sprinkles, Candy Corns, Cupcake Liners, Vanilla Frosting, Chocolate Cake Mix, and White, Orange, and Yellow Icing.
First, bake those cupcakes and try not to eat too much batter!
Cut a circle at an angle and remove the cone shaped center. Don’t throw it away, though, you’ll need the top to cover the filling.
Fill the hole layering the icing, replicating that of a candy corn.
Trim the cone we saved, so it sits flat on the cupcake.
Decorate and enjoy!
