First of all, Happy Easter Eve! And also, who else can’t believe it is already April. What’s more, my little babe will be 8 months old this month. Time. I’ve asked once, I’ll ask again… slow down. K, thanks.
I am super excited for this weekend! Most importantly, Jesus’ resurrection. Can I get an amen? Then, Hudson’s first Easter which is a pretty close second. On the agenda, as I already mentioned here, is an Easter egg hunt put on by our church, Easter service, of course, and an Easter basket for mister man! I’ve had the stuff for Hudson’s basket for a while now and have been meaning to sit down and type this up. But, you know, life. So, here it is the day before Easter. Hey all you procrastinators out there, this one’s for you!
Anyways, I wanted to get him some stuff he would actually enjoy and get use out of. I remember getting a basket full of Easter eggs filled with candy and other miscellaneous, age appropriate things. As for Hudson, I stuck pretty true to that making sure to get a toy for fine motor skills (similar), a bath toy (similar) that is his favorite time after all, a book about Easter (similar), Rabbit Jams, a sun hat, recycled these cute baseball Easter eggs from last year, and filled them with snacks he can actually eat. Aren’t these little eggs perfect since Opening Day is happening this weekend too? Baseball is a pretty dogon big deal around these parts, so for us, we could use nothing less than baseball Easter eggs.
I hope this helped you get your little one’s Easter basket ready and genuinely hope you have a life-changing weekend. God can do that to you, don’t ya know!
